Predominantly Latino schools often lack financial support and resources to create a more active environment.

Fortunately with the right tools and motivation you can do something about it! You can find grants, tools, and training opportunities to improve physical activity both before and after school, at the Let’s Move, Active Schools resource page.

The site provides tools and resources to provide students with:

• high quality PE;
• brief bouts of physical activity throughout the day; and
• after school programs to keep healthy.

Resources to encourage staff, families, and the community members to support active living initiatives are also available.
