Joint Use: Being Active in Los Angeles



A recent evaluation, of schools in seven school districts with joint-use agreements located in the Los Angeles County area, found that two-thirds of children at these locations were participating in moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA). The evaluation also found a 16-fold increase in use of facilities at schools that offered activities.
