When it comes to food and drinks sold on city property, law makers in the state of California want to ensure that the healthy choice is also the easy choice.
Introduced by assembly member Mitchell, A.B. 459 would require that food and beverages meet accepted nutritional guidelines if sold in a state-owned or state-leased building, or in a vending machine on state property.
