The YMCA (Y) of Central Florida is looking to make their facilities accessible to more than 31,500 people in need. This year their goal is to raise $3.2 million in funds, and acquire 3,000 volunteers to make this possible.

With the dollars raised, the Y of Central Florida plans to support the operation of 11 different Ys, in underserved communities like Tangelo Park, South Orlando, Titusville and Pine Hills.

The Y will provide afterschool programs, health and wellness programs, and early childhood development care to these communities regardless of age, income, race/ethnicity, or gender.
