According to this report from the Rudd Center, food companies are some of the most popular brands featured on Facebook. Social networks like Facebook and Twitter conduct polls and foster support for their products, as teens participate in the interactive components of food companies’ social media promotions.

The Rudd Center for Food Policy & Obesity at Yale University completed this study to analyze how food marketers promote their products or brands through the different forms of social media.
