The Rudd Food Policy Center’s 2010 report provides insight into the situation kids face with respect targeted advertising.

Although children’s exposure to TV food ads declined between 2004-2008, findings from the updated report indicate that exposure to food and beverage advertisements increased substantially among children in 2010.
