We at Salud America! love to communicate news, stories, and tools to improve health equity for Latino and all families.
That’s why we’re excited to announce we have won two International Davey Awards for our efforts!
The International Davey Awards, presented by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, honors the communication achievements of the “Creative Davids” who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than stratospheric budgets. This year the Academy received more than 3,000 entries.
Here are our winners:

Salud America! is led by Dr. Amelie G. Ramirez, professor and director of the Institute for Health Promotion Research (IHPR) at UT Health San Antonio.
“We’re excited by the ongoing stamp of approval for our communication work from groups like the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts,” said Dr. Ramirez. “Our team puts great effort into bringing to light issues that affect Latinos across the nation.”
